About HomeBridge Florida

HomeBridge Florida was established in 2026 by a local Jacksonville family with a simple mission: to help seniors and individuals with mobility challenges access safe, reliable, and affordable transportation and care guidance services.

The inspiration for HomeBridge came from firsthand experience in healthcare. Founded by a family physician and a pharmacy technician, both witnessed the daily challenges many older adults and their families face—from getting to essential medical appointments to navigating senior care services and maintaining independence. They recognized that many seniors were struggling not because of a lack of medical care, but because they lacked dependable transportation and trusted guidance. HomeBridge was created to bridge that gap and help seniors remain active, connected, and independent.

We understand that navigating transportation, senior living options, and support services can be overwhelming for families. Our goal is to provide dependable assistance that helps older adults maintain their independence while giving families peace of mind.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Our drivers are carefully screened through comprehensive background checks and receive training in safe driving practices, wheelchair securement, passenger assistance techniques, and respectful senior care interactions. Every client is treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and compassion.

Our founders’ healthcare experience gives us a unique understanding of the challenges seniors and their families face. While we are NOT a medical provider, our background enables us to deliver transportation and care guidance services with empathy, professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to each client’s well-being.

While HomeBridge Florida was founded by healthcare professionals with extensive experience caring for patients and supporting individuals throughout their healthcare journey, HomeBridge Florida does NOT provide medical care, medical advice, nursing services, or healthcare treatment. All transportation, companionship, advocacy, and advisory services are strictly non-medical in nature.

We believe that safe transportation and access to the right resources should be affordable and accessible for every family. Whether helping a client get safely to a medical appointment, assisting with grocery shopping or social outings, connecting families with senior living resources, or supporting independence in the community, HomeBridge Florida is proud to serve Jacksonville and the surrounding areas with professionalism, integrity, and compassionate care.

More than transportation

At HomeBridge Florida, we believe every journey matters. We don’t just provide transportation — we help preserve independence, reduce isolation, and give families confidence that their loved ones are in caring, capable hands.

Whether it’s a ride to a doctor’s appointment, a visit with family, a trip to the grocery store, or simply getting back into the community, we’re honored to be part of our clients’ lives.
